The CerePlex™ Direct is a sophisticated direct digital recording data acquisition system, providing unprecedented low-noise, researcher flexibility and reliability. CerePlex™ Direct is ideal for small mammalian models, non-intensive electrophysiologists, and beginners in data acquisition recording and stimulating.
The CereStim Switch provides unprecedented electrode-switching control for neural stimulation applications by enabling high-quality recordings immediately after stimulation. The CereStim Switch is an add-on module for the Cerebus data acquisition system.
A fully integrated optical stimulator and recording device in live tissue when used with Cerebus™ and NeuroMotive™ Systems.
The CereStim R96 is a fully programmable 96 channel neurostimulator with capabilities of producing up to 16 concurrent stimuli.
The Utah array has become a benchmark for multi-channel, high-density neural recordings and stimulation applications from large populations of neurons.
The microelectrode array (Utah Array) can be wired to various connector types. Researchers can choose a connector that is optimal for chronic (long term) or acute (short term) recordings from small to large subjects as well as from slice and cell-culture preparations.
The Blackrock pneumatically-actuated inserter is a device for implanting high-density microelectrode arrays into brain and peripheral-nerve tissue. Its high-speed, momentum-impulse insertion mechanism facilitates complete array implantation with minimal tissue damage.
Blackrock offers a wide range of headstages for recording distortion-free spikes and field potentials from high-impedance
microelectrodes. These solutions provide the widest input filters in the industry and the ability to measure in-vivo
impedances.
Experience how low noise and light weight neural recording can enable unprecedented experimental options
with Blackrock Neurotech digital amplifiers or headstages. These solutions are compatible with any Blackrock data acquisition
system, can interface to any electrode and work for any rodent, large animal or human set-up.
The CerePlex™ M is a small and lightweight digital headstage that provides an extremely low-noise, 7-wire, all-digital link from up to 96 neural microelectrodes to the Cerebus™ data acquisition system. The onboard digitization circuitry of the CerePlex™ eliminates artifacts due to headstage cable motion and environmental noise pickup. Its multiplexed output allows the researcher to use a single lightweight cable instead of multiple bulky cables and removes the need for an expensive motorized commutator when recording from freely behaving small animals such as rats, mice and birds.
The CerePlex µ is a very small and lightweight digital headstage that provides a platform for simple stimulation and tracking in freely moving rodents. It provides an interface between the Cerebus™ or CerePlex™ Direct recording systems and up to 32 microelectrodes for high-fidelity transmission and recording of extracellular spikes and local field potentials from the brain. In addition to neural recording, it features an onboard 3 axis magnetometer, accelerometer, and gyrometer as new tools for monitoring animal behavior.
CerePlex Exilis from Blackrock Neurotech is a lightweight, wireless digital head stage that provides a platform for freely behaving small animal models in Neuroscience research. It offers unprecedented quality of neural data via wireless transmission while keeping an ultra-low weight and size, enabling many novel research paradigms.
The CerePlex™ W is a lightweight, wireless digital headstage that provides a platform for freely behaving large animal models. It offers unprecedented quantities of neural data via wireless transmission, enabling many novel research paradigms..
The CerePlex™ E is the next generation digital headstage designed for recording neural signals from the CerePort™ microelectrode array (Utah Array™) implanted in non–human primates, felines, or other large–animal models.
Introducing CerePlex™ A: a high-channel, low-noise, quasi-DC amplifier designed with simplicity, flexibility, and miniaturization in mind. The innovative amplifier boasts flexible, analog-reference electrode selection for optimal removal of environmental noise, and artifacts prior to analog-to-digital conversion. A quasi-DC operation for recording distortion-free signals down to near DC, and integrated, electrode-impedance measurement for interrogating Blackrock Neurotech, or 3rd party electrodes, all in a compact design (6 cm x 12 cm x 1.5 cm). For experiment designs that include electrical neural stimulation, CerePlex™ A’s fast-settle circuit ensures high-quality neural recordings (spikes and field potentials) immediately after stimulation.
The MagRes headstage allows small animal researchers to directly correlate neural activity with hemodynamic changes detected on MRI.
MRI ENVIRONMENT: The MagRes Headstage has been successfully tested for heating, migration, and image artifact in the MRI environment up to 16.4T. It can record single-unit spikes and wide band signals while in an MRI during scan without distorting image (no imaging artifact).
The MagRes provides an isolated low-impedance output that guarantees signal integrity, minimizes noise pickup by cables, and ensures maximum common-mode noise rejection when using the CerePlex A.
Blackrock's analog headstages provide a low-noise link between neural electrodes (macro and micro) and the Cerebus / NeuroPort data acquisition systems.
The MRI Compatible Head stage from Blackrock Neurotech is a lightweight, 16 channel, single-unit, analogue recording head stage for small animals that fits in the bore with the animal. It is a head stage that offers users the ability to directly correlate neural activity with the hemodynamic changes present in awake and responsive subjects. The MRI head stage is ideal for a number of applications in the field of electrophysiology involving animals such as rodents, cats and primates.
