The pE-300 Series is a range of LED Illumination Systems for fluorescence, optogenetics, electrophysiology and high-speed microscopy applications. It comprises three systems providing a solution that covers a range of everyday fluorescence microscopy; from the simple pE-300lite through the classic pE-300white to the highly controllable pE-300ultra. The systems are unique in also being available as a Direct Fit model, which increases light intensity and reduces the cost to buy and run thanks to fewer consumables.

Utilising the successful pE-300 Series platform, the pE-340fura is a bespoke LED Illuminator for Fura-2 ratiometric calcium imaging, which also supports everyday fluorescence microscopy in a compact and affordable package.

The 340nm and 380nm LED illumination system provides the optimum excitation wavelengths for Fura-2-based calcium imaging allowing high-precision, stable, high-throughput imaging with video-rate time resolution.

pE-4000 : Research fluorescence

The pE-4000 sets the standard as the universal illumination system for fluorescence microscopy. The system has 16 selectable LED wavelengths that can be matched to the filters and fluorophores of almost any microscope, making it the broadest spectrum of illumination available.

For the user who wants consistency and ease of use with simple on/off and intensity buttons, the pE-4000 can be operated as a ‘White’ illumination system.

For the user who wants total control over the excitation source to improve imaging, individual wavelengths settings can be selected and controlled in “Advanced” mode.

pE-100 : Screening fluorescence

The pE-100 series is a family of single-wavelength fluorescence LED illumination systems, which are compact and simple to use. Systems can be specified at any one of 20 different LED wavelengths, and are ideal for routine clinical screening, electrophysiology or basic research applications. Operation is by a remote manual control pod with instant on/off and intensity control from 0-100%, with remote control available via a TTL trigger.

pT-100 : Transmitted illumination

The pT-100 is a compact and simple-to-use LED illumination system for transmitted light applications, including brightfield, darkfield, DIC, Dodt gradient contrast and phase contrast.

The system is available in four variants to bring the benefits of LEDs to modern laboratories. A broad white system provides a safer and convenient alternative to halogen by reducing harmful UV exposure to the eyes and is ideal for long hours spent at the microscope, while three narrow bandwidth options (525, 635 and 770 nm) optimise image quality through increased contrast.
